First Aid Courses


Our range of first aid courses will prepare you for any eventuality, either in the workplace, on the water or in the home. They can be tailored to particular groups, putting an emphasis on sport or work-place, for example, and are available to individuals and groups. We value hands-on training and learning through practical scenarios as opposed to formal assessments.

We can offer our clients recognized qualifications in the following:

HSE Emergency First Aid at Work
Duration: 7hrs
Cost: £90

Emergency First Aid at Work training enables a first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill. This award is seven hours long and will cover: being a first aider, Primary and Secondary Surveys, the recovery position, CPR, choking, seizures, bleeding and other common medical issues.

HSE First Aid at Work
Duration: 3 days
Cost: £280

First Aid at Work is a three-day course that covers emergency situations and will also equip the first aider to handle a range of specific injuries and illnesses. It will cover the following: being a first aider, first aid kits, Primary and Secondary Survey, CPR, the recovery position, choking, spinal injuries, shock, bleeding, seizures, crush injuries, eye injuries, head injuries, fractures and other common medical issues.

RYA First Aid
Duration: 8hrs
Cost: £90

Watersports participants can be presented with difficult scenarios requiring first aid treatment at sea or in awkward costal locations. The course is tailored to meet the participants’ needs where possible. Practical sessions are an essential part of the day. Some areas covered are: CPR, choking and the recovery position, head injury and unconsciousness, bleeding and burns, injury and illness, hypothermia and heat injuries, first aid kits, rescue.
