ElementalUK was set up in 2006 by Dany Duncan, who has more than 20 years’ experience teaching outdoor pursuits both in the UK and overseas.

He has built up a team of highly qualified staff, all fully CRB-checked, and has gained accreditation from governing bodies such as the RYA (Royal Yachting Association), the AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority), and BSAC (British Sub-Aqua Club) as a snorkelling centre. ElementalUK is also a Cornwall Marine Network partner.

When Dany set up ElementalUK’s beach base at Swanpool in Falmouth, Cornwall, he was inspired by the knowledge that the natural shelter of the bay would be a brilliantly safe environment in which to teach watersports. His philosophy has always been that learning should go hand in hand with fun and safety, and this continues to be ElementalUK’s guiding principles.

Over the years, ElementalUK has welcomed thousands of people to the beach, whatever their age and skill-level, nurturing their talents, building their confidence, and motivating them to pursue a lifetime of achievement in watersports.
